Using Pilot Dives
Pilot Dives helps pilots remember and share places near airports: hotels, restaurants, things to do and gyms. By signing in you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you can still use the app without an account to search airports and keep your own private list.
Not for flight planning or navigation
Pilot Dives is not an aviation information service. Airport names, codes and locations are provided for convenience only and may be out of date or wrong. Never use this app for flight planning, navigation or any operational decision. Place listings, distances and events come from third parties such as Apple Maps and Ticketmaster and may be inaccurate. Confirm anything important yourself.
Your account
You sign in with Apple. You must be at least 17 years old. You are responsible for what is done with your account. You can delete your account at any time from the bottom of the Profile tab, which removes your profile, photo, check-ins, ratings, tips, posts and the messages you sent.
Community rules
Pilot Dives has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You may not post, send or share anything that is harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, defamatory, deceptive or illegal. You may not spam, advertise, impersonate another person, or share someone else's private information. This applies to your name, photo, check-ins, ratings, tips, board posts and messages.
Reporting and blocking
You can report any pilot, post, message or tip, and you can block any pilot, from the menu next to it. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. We may remove content and suspend or permanently remove any account that breaks these rules, without notice.
What you share
Ratings, detailed grades and tips you choose to share are visible to other signed-in pilots, along with the name and photo on your profile. Your private notes and your saved list stay on your phone and are never shared. You keep ownership of what you write, and you allow Pilot Dives to show it to other pilots in the app. Ratings and tips are the opinions of the pilots who wrote them.
No warranty
The app is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Pilot Dives is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app or from reliance on anything shown in it.
Changes
These terms may be updated. If the changes are significant, the app will ask you to agree again.
